Our Terms & Conditions

Payment

Payment is due on receipt or by the due date stated on the invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept payment by bank transfer and any other payment methods made available by Krrish & Co.
If an invoice remains unpaid after its due date, Krrish & Co will issue a payment reminder and provide the customer with an opportunity to bring their account up to date.
If an invoice remains unpaid for three calendar days after its due date, Krrish & Co reserves the right to pause or suspend future scheduled services and forward bookings until the account has been brought fully up to date or an alternative payment arrangement has been agreed to by Krrish & Co in writing.
Paused or suspended bookings may be removed from our calendar. Once the account has been brought up to date, future services may resume subject to availability. We cannot guarantee that the customer’s original booking dates or service schedule will remain available.
Pausing or suspending future services does not affect the customer’s obligation to pay for services already completed or any other amounts properly owing to Krrish & Co.
If payment continues to remain outstanding, interest may be charged at 15% per annum on the overdue balance, calculated from the invoice due date until payment is received in full.
Krrish & Co reserves the right to refer overdue accounts to a debt collection agency, including Guardian Credit Services, for recovery.
Where an overdue account is referred for recovery, the customer agrees to be responsible for reasonable debt collection, recovery, legal and associated costs incurred in recovering the outstanding amount, to the extent permitted by law.
We strongly encourage customers to pay invoices by their due date to avoid interest charges, additional recovery costs and interruption to future services.

Pricing

Krrish & Co Limited is currently not GST registered. Prices are therefore not subject to GST unless otherwise stated.
Pricing may include labour, travel, materials, consumables, equipment, waste disposal and other job-specific costs as detailed in the quote or invoice.
Regular property or garden maintenance pricing is based on the agreed service frequency. If a property is left significantly longer between visits than agreed, additional labour and charges may be required.

Recurring Services

Recurring property and garden maintenance services may be scheduled at an agreed frequency, subject to availability.
Customers may pause or cancel recurring services by providing at least 24 hours’ notice.
Where insufficient notice is provided, or our team attends the property and cannot gain access, reasonable charges may apply.

Gardening & Property Maintenance

Gardening services may include lawn mowing, hedge trimming, pruning, weeding, weed treatment, garden clean-ups and general property maintenance as agreed with the customer.
The customer must advise us of plants, trees, garden features or areas requiring special care before work begins.
Results from pruning, weed control, lawn treatment and other horticultural work can be affected by weather, plant health, soil conditions and other factors outside our control.

Green Waste & Disposal

Green waste and other waste removal is charged separately unless specifically included in the quote or service.
Customers may choose to retain suitable green waste on the property where agreed before the service.
Disposal charges may vary according to the quantity, weight and type of material being removed and the applicable disposal facility charges.

Water Blasting

Water blasting involves the use of pressurised water and may expose or worsen pre-existing deterioration, cracking, loose paint, weak mortar, damaged sealants, rotten timber or other defects.
Customers must advise Krrish & Co of any known fragile, damaged, recently painted, repaired or otherwise sensitive surfaces before work begins.
While reasonable care will be taken, Krrish & Co is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing deterioration, defective surfaces, inadequate installation or other conditions that were not reasonably apparent before work commenced.
Some stains, mould, lichen, discolouration or weathering may not be completely removable through water blasting.
The customer must provide reasonable access to an appropriate water supply unless alternative arrangements have been agreed.
Customers should ensure doors and windows are properly closed and remove or protect items that may be affected by water, spray or debris.
Water blasting may be postponed where weather or site conditions make the work unsafe or likely to produce an unsatisfactory result.

Electrical Services

Electrical work will be carried out by an appropriately qualified and licensed electrician where required by New Zealand law.
All electrical work is subject to the condition and compliance of the property’s existing electrical installation.
Quotes based on visible conditions may not include faults, defects, unsafe wiring or non-compliant electrical work that could not reasonably have been identified before work commenced.
If previously unidentified electrical faults, unsafe conditions or non-compliant work are discovered, Krrish & Co may stop or suspend work where necessary for safety or legal compliance and advise the customer of the additional work required.
Additional diagnosis, repairs, replacement components, materials or labour required to rectify existing faults or unsafe/non-compliant installations may be charged separately with customer approval where appropriate.
Customers must provide safe and reasonable access to switchboards, electrical equipment and other areas required to complete the work.
Electricity may need to be temporarily isolated while electrical work is undertaken. Customers should make appropriate arrangements for equipment or appliances that must not lose power.
Krrish & Co will provide any electrical certification or documentation required by applicable New Zealand electrical safety requirements for work performed by us.
Krrish & Co is not responsible for pre-existing electrical faults, defective equipment, concealed wiring or work previously carried out by other persons.

Materials & Products

Materials and products may be supplied as part of gardening, water blasting or electrical work.
Where a particular product is unavailable, we may discuss a suitable alternative with the customer.
Manufacturer warranties applicable to products or equipment supplied remain subject to the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
Labour associated with diagnosing, removing or replacing a product under a manufacturer’s warranty may be chargeable where that labour is not covered by the applicable warranty.

Weather

Outdoor services may be postponed because of unsafe or unsuitable weather, including heavy rain, strong winds, storms or other conditions affecting safety or workmanship.
If a service needs to be postponed, we will endeavour to arrange the next suitable available appointment.
Krrish & Co is not responsible for delays caused by weather or other circumstances reasonably outside our control.

Property Access

Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access to the property and relevant work areas on the scheduled service date.
Gates should be unlocked and pets appropriately secured where necessary.
Where electrical work is being undertaken, reasonable access must be available to electrical switchboards, outlets, appliances and other relevant equipment.
Additional travel, labour or return-visit charges may apply where access has not been provided as arranged.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate information about the property and the work requested.
Customers must tell us about known hazards or relevant property conditions before work begins.
This includes known underground or concealed electrical cables, irrigation systems, water pipes, gas lines, drainage, septic systems and other services.
Customers should remove or appropriately secure valuable, fragile or personal items from the work area before work begins.
Children and pets should be kept safely away from active work areas, machinery, electrical work and water-blasting equipment.

Changes & Additional Work

If the customer requests additional work while we are at the property, we may perform that work subject to available time, materials and appropriate customer approval.
Additional work will be charged at the applicable labour rate plus materials and other applicable costs unless another price has been agreed.
Discovery of concealed defects, unsafe conditions, unexpected site conditions or additional work required for legal or safety compliance may affect the original price and completion time.

Video & Photographs

Krrish & Co may take photographs or video of work before, during and after completion for job records, quality assurance and marketing purposes.
Personal information or identifying details about the customer will not be intentionally published without permission.
Customers who do not want images of their property used for marketing purposes may advise Krrish & Co.

Damage & Liability

Krrish & Co will take reasonable care while carrying out work at the customer’s property.
To the extent permitted by law, Krrish & Co will not be responsible for loss or damage resulting from pre-existing defects, deterioration, concealed or unmarked services, defective installations, unsafe structures, unstable vegetation, customer-supplied equipment or circumstances reasonably outside our control.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable New Zealand law.
Any concern regarding work performed should be reported to Krrish & Co as soon as reasonably possible so that we have an opportunity to inspect the issue and, where appropriate, remedy it.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

We ask customers to provide at least 24 hours’ notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment.
Where insufficient notice is provided, or our team attends a property and cannot undertake the work because access has not been provided, Krrish & Co reserves the right to charge reasonable costs associated with the booking.
Krrish & Co may reschedule work due to weather, safety concerns, staff availability, material availability or circumstances reasonably outside our control.

Health & Safety

Krrish & Co reserves the right to stop, postpone or refuse work where conditions are considered unsafe.
Customers must not interfere with tools, machinery, electrical equipment, safety barriers or other equipment being used by Krrish & Co.
Where a hazard is identified that prevents work from being completed safely, we will advise the customer and discuss the appropriate next steps.

Insurance

Krrish & Co Limited maintains business insurance appropriate to the services we provide, subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions and limits of the applicable insurance policies.
Our insurance arrangements are maintained and reviewed as appropriate for our gardening, property maintenance, water blasting and electrical activities.
Evidence of relevant insurance may be provided upon reasonable request where appropriate.
The existence of insurance does not alter the responsibilities, limitations or obligations set out in these Terms & Conditions or any rights a customer may have under New Zealand law.

Acceptance of These Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all quotes, bookings, jobs and services supplied by Krrish & Co Limited, including gardening, property maintenance, water blasting and electrical services.

Before confirming a booking or instructing Krrish & Co to begin work, the customer will be provided with, or directed to, these Terms & Conditions on the Krrish & Co website.

By accepting a quote, confirming or requesting a booking, instructing Krrish & Co to proceed, or otherwise authorising Krrish & Co to carry out work, the customer confirms that they have had the opportunity to read and understand these Terms & Conditions and agrees to be bound by them.

If a person arranges work on behalf of a property owner or another customer, that person confirms that they have authority to accept these Terms & Conditions on that customer’s behalf.

Any variation to these Terms & Conditions must be agreed to by Krrish & Co in writing.

These Terms & Conditions apply to gardening, property maintenance, water blasting, electrical and other services supplied by Krrish & Co Limited (“Krrish & Co”, “we”, “us” or “our”)

Quotes

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Quotes are based on the information provided by the customer and/or the condition of the property at the time of inspection.
A quote covers only the work specifically described in the quote.
Additional work requested by the customer, or work that becomes necessary because of conditions that could not reasonably have been identified before commencing the job, may incur additional charges.
Where practical, we will discuss additional work and obtain customer approval before proceeding.
Materials, equipment hire, disposal fees, travel or other costs are included only where specified in the quote.
Where work is charged on an hourly basis, the final invoice will reflect the labour, materials and other applicable charges associated with the work performed.
